They look the same because they all have HTC Sense skins, but that's like making your Mac Desktop look like your Windows Desktop with the same wall paper, it's just looks. The Operating System is different. You will have to find similar programs written for Android. |

Re: Evo 4G question
To use another phone manufacturer's quote, with android, "There's an app for that!" ;)
But, other than the flashlight app, are there any other apps that you are looking for? There are 38K apps in the market, so what you need is probably available. |

Re: Evo 4G question
I had three WM smartphones. Currently I have a Android Samsung Moment. Android Blows away winmo in ever single aspect.. bar none. Yes, I had many many custom roms for my smartphones.

Re: Evo 4G question
well yea cause wma streams are guess what... windows streams. thats a issue with m$ not android. i doubt you will ever be able to do that. although maybe one day we could get vlc on there then it would work

Re: Evo 4G question
How does the facebook app (if any) compare to the WinMo version?
|
Re: Evo 4G question
The only thing I've noticed about the Facebook app, is you can't send private messages through the Android app. I think with the WM app, you can. I haven't used the WM app since October 2009, so I'm a little fuzzy on anything else.

Re: Evo 4G question
Thanks alot for the replys guys!. The program im looking forward to work on the Evo 4G is a program called, "MagiCall".
Thats the best call-blocking program that ever came out. What ever you want it to do, it does it. I was wondering if Droid will support it? |

I have a call/text blocker on my hero

Re: Evo 4G question
I'm confused, who are we blocking calls/texts from? Do you people really lead that much of a drama filled life? :)

Than some people have bill collectors they want to X out too........so there are a lot of different reason why someone would want to do that..............but yeah......I would assume most of them are because of drama!!!!!!!!:) |

99 problems but a b*tch aint one.

Re: Evo 4G question
I use one on my work phone because I give that number to vendors and partners, but don't necessarily want their calls at 2am on a Wednesday when I am sleeping or a Saturday afternoon when I am with my family.
|
Re: Evo 4G question
um why not just put it on silent mode then?
|
Re: Evo 4G question
You guys do realize android comes with call blocking already built in? if you create a contact, when you go to options you have the option to send that person directly to voicemail.
