Re: Htc Evo amoled display????

What?!?!?! someone on this forum actually comes out during sunlight?

jk

Yeh that is one sad thing I find how dumbphones work in sunlight and all this gadgets go blank unless you set up to max and then you may see a little. (of course the dumb phones don't have such high res screens but still makes me sad

Re: Htc Evo amoled display????

well the EVO that was shown at CTIA has a TFT screen. Who knows what the finished product will be, AMOLED is quite possible. But i myself is fine with a TFT screen.

Re: Htc Evo amoled display????

It's the lack of touchscreens that makes most dumbphones better sunlight performers. Blackberries have hi res screens that look great cuz they aren't touchscreens

Re: Htc Evo amoled display????

I hope it has same screen as hero. I love this thing! and not having to shade it in direct sunlight is big kudos. honestly, screen resolution compared to the amoled moments screen is barely noticeable, unless your face is planted on the phone.

Ahm...it can't have the same screen...Hero has 320×480 HVGA resolution...that said the TP2 screen does semi ok in sunlight if I have the brightness up to max..but more would be desirable..WTB Super AMOLED :P
