Re: one design problem with the evo

I would have liked to see this be a world phone as well, otherwise not much to complain about.

Re: one design problem with the evo

When I first got my Touch, the SD card "door" on the side and the having to remove the back were a hassle but I got used to it. Doesn't seem to be a problem. I think I might have removed the card like 10 times in 2 years.

Re: one design problem with the evo

I wouldn't give a fat rats hairy @ZZ about the micro-sd card being under the battery! OMG... this EVO 4G phone has too much awesomeness to whine about that piddly crap!!! AMOLED screen would be sheer perfection but I guess Samsung has that under wraps right now.
The iPhone is getting a SERIOUS old fashion pants down @ss whoopin!!!!

it may not be a world phone as far as cdma/gsm but here is the question..will it work in other areas of the world which deploy wimax/wibro :/

here is a map of wimax in the world

http://www.wimaxmaps.org/

(thing is sprint is 802.16e and some are 802.16d(this is fixed wimax not mobile so take those off the map to see) :/)

Re: one design problem with the evo

its not a problem for me at all... i will buy the biggest fastest one i can afford
stick it in there and prbly not take it out again until its time to upgrade... on my
touch pro2 having to take the batt cover off to push the reset button is a real
downer. THATS a design flaw!

the only flaw i see in the evo 4g is that i dont have one yet!

If this is the case then I really won't need to remove the micros SD card. 8gb internal is what my Pre currently has and I have 3 movies and lots of music on it and still have room.

Re: one design problem with the evo

Re: one design problem with the evo

yea, that does kind of suck. I had a phone that had that same design. Does android have a mass storage device driver like winmo does? Cuz then it wouldn't matter a whole lot to most.
