you put the ZIP file on the storage card.. put your phone in "recovery" (turn off phone..press power + vol down..select recovery) and FLASH the ZIP file from there.

The Sprint Hotspot app is removed from OMJ ROMS thats why you cant get into settings.

You can still turn on the function but without the app, you wont be able to get into the settings.

I get this too. I'm using the stock, rooted, odexed rom, with the 3.29 update.

If on 4G, it disconnets from 4G, connects to 3G, then disconnects from 3G, and gives error 67.

If only connected to 3G, it disconnects, and says error 67.

Wifi tether works for me, so it isn't a huge loss.

I have wifi tether - i get about 0.5mB-0.9mB down. ever since 2.2, no more high download speeds

i still get the error #67 as well. I'd love to know the rooting method that was used, or the kernel.

i'm running unrEVOked, stock 2.2 and applied the zip. i got a loading files...followed by deleting files...deleting files... etc. then i rebooted. didn't work. i even tried clear dalvik, repeated steps, etc., didn't work.

when i tried to run usb tether (clicked 4g, plugged phone in, selected usb tether) it basically turned mobile network off and gave me #67 error. i knew the 4g hotspot wouldn't work.

i'd like to hear from physcoassasin as to what rooting method he used. or any other people's success rates. after all, calkulin's usb tethering fix was downloading over 170 times... more than a few people have had to have this work. any input would be appreciated.

You guys are probably running odexed roms. FYI there is a rooted and deodexed version of the new update over on xda

yeah you need to run deODEXed roms in order for the fixes to work. and as another member stated you will have force close issues on the stock android browser if its loading a webpage and you hit stop or the back button..
