Why No HDMI out?

I currently have the Motorola Photon 4G and love the phone. It was easy to root and I love how I can connect it to any device with HDMI. It this strictly a Motorola thing. I know OG EVO had it but the HDMI port didnt work. Does the EVO LTE do it wirelessly or something? Any thoughts on why this has been excluded?

Thanks

Re: Why No HDMI out?

you should be able to get HDMI out with any standard MHL adapter.

Can you provide me with the link at Monoprice please? I put in what you both mentioned but I didnt see it. Also are you able to stream netflix, hulu plus and hbo go using this adapter? I know Netflix worked on my phone but supposedly hulu plus and hbogo didnt support hdmi out. You had to hack the phone and it was a little much for me.

Thanks
