Small issue

When on a call, and I pull the phone away from my face, the screen stays black, and I have to press the power button for it to light up. This is a PITA when needing to enter numbers, you know, like press one for english, LOL

My OG Evo never had that issue

I just tested....working fine here. I have read others having the same issue, and I believe they were exchanging the phone due to a bad proximity sensor.

Re: Small issue

Do you have a screen protector on your phone. There are lots of people who have them on and it covers the proximity sensor, so the screen is staying black when they remove the phone from their ear.

Re: Small issue

Yeah, the Zagg, I seen the other forums that stated that. It has a cut out, but looks like I cut some out and seem to work fine now

I had the same issue... My sensor wasnt working properly... I simply called HTC had them log the problem and when bestbuy got their second shipment they just replaced it for me!!! The screen protecter had no impact on this issue for me
