Flashing Rom - FREEZES on loading screen

flashing back to the original. no problem. but once I put a new rom on there it installs. no problem. but when I restart it. it loads up and then freezes during the booting process.

hopefully we found the answer. we think because we are in hboot 1.58 s-on

Solution found.

I always hate when there is an old post people asking questions and the OP never responds when a solution is found.

So here it is.

I kept installing a rom but on the loading screen after installation it would freeze. I tried several. I had 1.58 s-on.

I did the Bear Control wire trick. Basically I cut an ethernet cable and used one of the wires inside to touch the back of my phone (there is a tutorial - look up wire trick).

So I got S-off. I did NOT have to downgrade my hboot. 1.58 works with the newer roms made for ICS (1.5.

I wasn't sure if I had to downgrade hboot but I didn't.
