If you went to xda you would have all of your answers. [ROM] Feb-2 MeanROM v0.6 - one lean, mean 2.17.651.5 machine - xda-developers
Basically his rom is based on the new ota build 2.17.651.5 . Currently there are not kernels compatible with this build(excluding the stock kernel) since the sourse hasnt been disclosed.

It's a really stable ROM with great battery life. I am running it. Got it from xda

Re: new mean rom

Just tried this mean rom and the battery life is terrible. I use the phone to surf the web (not heavy cpu usage like 3d gaming), but it cranks up the cpu when the display is on diluting battery life.

And it doesn't really feel faster than any other rom out there, TBH.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.3.7; en-us; ADR6400L Build/FRG83D; ThunderShed-v1.2_CM7.2.0) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

We need to get some of the xda chefs to post their roms over here too.
