Gmail Stopped syncing properly

I'm not sure what changed, but the HTC Gmail IMAP stopped syncing for me yesterday. The only thing I changed was perhaps syncing my account with my HP touchpad. Is there any way that would affect my syncing on my Evo 3D?

It could be possible, not knowing everything, but doesn't seem like it should.

I have both my Evo 3D and Touchpad synced with gmail and so far they both seem to be ok. Did you install/flash anything on the phone that would have any affect on gmail or notifications?

it's not just the notifications, I go into the e-mail app, it fuses to sync anything past august 20 for some reason. Touchpad is syncing fine though.

Tried gmail app as well, no luck.

my gmail hasn't been syncing either....who knows why

It has to so something with the last update. I reverted back to the last one and still haven't run the update. Not only does it mess up sync but it removed the gmail sound notifications. I don't know why they would do that. I hope they fix this soon and put notifications back.

hmm interesting, so it wasn't just me. Either way I switched over to exchange server setting and that worked. So there's a quick fix.
