Video Caller ID (disable Sense caller ID)

Found a really cool couple of Apps (video caller ID and videotonez). They work great on my 3d except for one problem: they can't bypass the default caller ID/answer screen.

Does anyone know how to disable the default answer screen? I want to keep the dialer though. I am rooted.

They are both in the market and both do the same thing: allow you to have videos as a ringer instead of just a static picture.

Problem is when I answer using either one of these Apps, I have to turn around again and answer using the HTC app.

You probably want to try videotonez first. It makes downloading music videos easy, if that's your thing.

Re: Video Caller ID (disable Sense caller ID)

Experiencing same annoying issue. Loved the APP on the 4G but not sure why the 3D or Sense 3.0 interface can't be disabled.

I have this app and when I press talk from the video app it flashes the default for a quick second but It's not a big deal. I remember a few weeks ago I would have to press talk twice. Now i dont. I guess they are making some progress.

I have confirmed that Video Caller ID works correctly now. Have not tested videotonez.

The only problem with video caller ID now is that when I set the video to full screen half of the answer button is misssing and the reject button is elongated. Its almost as if there's some type of orientation problem and its putting the landscape caller ID screen in portrait mode. Are you having this same issue?

When I set mine to play full screen it just plays the video in landscape.
