I doubt it is GPS.
Google map is probably using cell / wifi to get your location.
Maybe someone has a wifi access point from Demark.

It does seem to be when I connect to the wifi at work??? Which still makes no sense to me

Yeah, I don't know... it's just AT&T's DSL coming off of a netgear router... but yeah, as soon as I connect to it, my weather switches to Lidkoping Denmark... so if I open google maps... there I am, located within 30 yards of some intersection in Lidkoping... always in the same spot... it's weird?
