Defender and all Otterbox cases have always been bulky to me.
The name is apprpriate because they seem to be the size of .....an Otter IMO. I 've always loved Seidio. If BB has that same Seidio case/Holster Combo for less, then I am picking mine up tomorrow

I was going to use a gift card to buy one of these this morning but, BestBuy didn't have any white ones on display. The sales people in the mobile dept weren't very helpful either. I came home to order one on Best Buy's website but, they were on back order there too. Ended up going on xda-developers and decided to get a TPU case people were talking about instead. Ordered one from tpu-cases.com for $8.95 w/free shipping. Saved about $26 + tax AND now will be getting a case that provides some protection for the camera lenses.

I just got mine from BB and it works perfect.
I can even use the TPU case I have with the belt clip, fits perfect! The TPU case covers the camera better than the plastic case that comes with the Platinum setup.

Got this seidio/platinum from BB too, it is well worth it, just don't go around playing with the kickstand (i used to hold the metal kickstand of my OG Evo and spin the phone around lol), this kickstand is plastic and more flimsy. I just won't mess with it, cuz it works great AND stands up sturdy in Portrait mode too!
Its not bulky, texture is perfect and doesnt stick inside your pocket yet has a great grip in-hand. Only Gripe: This thing is a B*TCH to take off!! Not cool if after root and rom flashing I have to do a battery pull (god forbid)

You're right, it is hard to take off. Found that out when I had to swap sd cards back and forth.
On another note I really hope it will fit in somebody's docking station, whenever they come out with one. Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk
