Droid Incredible a World Phone..?
i know Verizon uses CDMA just like Sprint. But print has some HTC devices that have GSM capability... is the Incredible a GSM capable device..?

nope...
only devices that can do both are world phones.. for VZW thats probably the TP2 and the DRoid 2 Global and thats about it... im not super familiar with VZWs product line

Don't forget the blackberry's some of them had sim card slots too, as for the incredible, there is NOTHING you can do about that except eat up the gigantic roaming fees assuming they have a CDMA network in that country or buy an unlocked dumb phone to use for the time being.
