HTC Incredible Randomly shutting off

Gotta a 'Droid I'. The thing randomly shuts off in the middle of use. Is this a common issue and is there a update to fix it. It is getting real annoying that it cuts off in the middle of playing music or while on the internet. thanks

Re: HTC Incredible Randomly shutting off

There could be several reasons: bad apps installed, mistaken uninstalled apps you needed, the ROM you're using and more.

What ROM are you running or are you stock Android?

I'm sure you can get more answers once this is known

Re: HTC Incredible Randomly shutting off

Is it over heating? My original Incredible had the same problem and I called VZN and they swapped it out for another one. You have (or had depending if you rooted) a year manufacturers warranty. Mine occasionally still resets but mostly when using PDAnet for a extended time....
