I was already for a DInc...but...no Swype?

I was already to purchase a DInc...the speed, the GPS, the size.

But after I was comparing to the Droid devices, I have REALLY gotten to like Swype (w/the Voice button).

I understand that the DInc just finished a Beta Swype program. So my question is...

How long will it take for Swype to make a contract with HTC or Vice Versa? Or WILL the DInc get swype at all?

Check here. I tried it for android and I didn't like as much as I did for my windows mobile. But here ya go anyways.

Nevermind I guess it was taken down and considered warez.

You can get Swype by signing up for the Beta, that is the only way at the moment if you do not have a phone that comes with it.

I've "acquired" a copy from somewhere in this or the xda forums (can't remember). Works great!!

Re: I was already for a DInc...but...no Swype?

I have the beta but at one point there were issues with restarting the device and Swype no longer working so I've since moved to Ultra Keyboard. I don't miss Swype at all.

Wirelessly posted (Omnia1: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-us; ADR6300 Build/FRF91) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

I prefer ShapeWriter over Swype. Found it on 4shared. The alternative word choices are too small on Swype for me and numbers and symbols was a real pain vs ShapeWriter and SlideIt
