Incredible file dump, how can i copy files from system to SD card?
Ok, so I rooted the incredible and flashed the recovery using unrEVOked2

i want to copy the entire OS file system that contains the UI files so i can start theming

can anyone tell me how to go about doing that? i tried copying the folders with root explorer to my SD card but it just kept freezing the incredible

is there an easy command i can do while in adb recovery? like a push/pull command so to speak?

Funny you should ask using those exact words. I read about that in a sticky for the "Android 101" in the General Android forum.

Super simple and you hit the nail on the head with adb.

Open cmd window.
CD to where adb is located with phone connected to pc (with debugging mode turned on).
Type adb pull /system c:/folder2dump2.

ok now i ran into a bigggg issue
I edited a .apk that i extracted then put back into a .apk file
but when i went to replace it on the phone, it errored out, and also deleted the original, so now i no longer have the htcClockWidget.apk installed on the phone, and when i try to put the original file i had backed up just incase someone went wrong or didn't work, the phone doesn't let me, i even tried signing it and it will not let me, Droid Explorer also crashes when i try to install it from it

any insight on how i can get my htc ClockWidget.apk back?

I have attached my backups of htcclockwidget.apk and its .odex also. I figure your on the stock system, but I also have added my deodexed apk also just in case. Theres a app to decompile and rebuild apks, its called apktool.
