rooting and OTA
 

If I root my phone, to enable the wifi tethering, but do not load any custom ROMs, will i still be able to accept the 2.2 update when it comes out?
(obviously I would lose my root, but i just wanted to know if rooting blocks the OTA)

I don't think rooting blocks the OTA update, but I could be wrong. You could just unroot when update is released and do the official update. Hope this helps. :thumbleft:

It does not block the OTA, but it will like you said remove the root.
