This 'fix' sounds worth looking into, but this quote bothers me....is there a way of doing the switch so a reset won't change it? It seems like quite the series of keys to remember everytime your Inc resets. Thanks for sharing it, I will look into my settings, if it helps....worth a try!!

The person that originally posted this on a different forum stated that it resets upon soft reset, so I just added that in. HOWEVER, mine does not reset. Once I changed it, it has always stayed on CDMA rather than GSM after about 4 resets in about a month.

I get the same thing. I did this, and the battery seems a wee bit better, but nothing really incredible (pardon the pun). My battery ran out on me yesterday resulting (obviously) in a reset and in the settings I am still set to CDMA, so I guess mine is set as well!!
