Is there any way to disable Sense UI?

Like the title states, is there any way to disable HTC's Sense UI and just see the basic Android theme? I know you can change 'scenes' but does this enable just the stock Nexus One style Android 2.1?

I know in WinMo on my TP2, you can disable Sense/TF3D and you are left with the Windows Mobile Titanium theme. Is this similar in Android?

I do not have my device yet, it should arrive Wednesday. Just curious on this

Re: Is there any way to disable Sense UI?

Looks like HTC disable the stock Android launcher on the Incredible. You can use another launcher though. Download and install any launcher from the market, then go to Settings/Applications/Manage applications and go to HTC Sense. Clear defaults from this and when you press on the Home button it will ask which launcher you want to use.

If you disable sense, can you still use the HTC widgets?

Re: Is there any way to disable Sense UI?

What is reasoning for wanting to disable sense? Having used devices with and without it, sense seems to be an improvement, though the two are very similar.

I see a lot of people asking how to disable it but no one saying why they don't like it.

I was just curious as to the customization. I love sense (i currently own an unlocked TP2), but I was just wondering if there was a way to disable and test out stock Android as it would be on say a Nexus One
