Use LEDs as Flashlight?

Ok, I finally got my Incredible!

On the Moto Droid, you can use the rear led light as a flashlight. I searched for one for the Incredible, but can only find screen lights.

Any out there?

currently that is the ONLY led flashlight for the incredible, however it is not complete. just to be clear (on the devs site) he states that it will turn the LEDs on for the flashlight, but the program freezes your phone and requires a soft reset after using it. so in a pinch i guess it would be nice to have. he says he is continuing to work on it. maybe now with root about he'll find what he needs to make it work 100%

I use Lamppu and it works great, plus it is free. You have to be rooted though.

Re: Use LEDs as Flashlight?

i used this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=701036

video is very good, but it didn't go as fast for me as him, i was at it for around 3 hours. ended up using the method of pulling the sd card. The whole root process is actually very simple with the video, it just takes alot of redoing the same thing and luck to get it to work.
