Ramdom reboots on the Incredible :(
 

Well not so random, but can't find out why.
A couple times now in the last 2-3 days I have had my Incredible freeze and reboot. One time when I was using a GPS locator app, one time when I played a sound clip of "Droid", one time when I went to answer a call, and the other night it rebooted 3 times in a row. What gives here?

Firmware version: 2.1-update1
Baseband: 1.00.03.04.06
Kernel 2.6.29-cc1c2268
Build 1.22.605.2 CL161494 release-keys
software: 1.22.605.2
if you need more let me know.

I am trying to see if it is aspecific app that is causing it, but it is hard to remember what is running at the time of crash.

Any ideas?? I am very new to Android!

there are a few posts on another forum about this. it is a known issue and a software update us in the works.

How to block that update, I want to eventually root this one!

then hopefully a Rom will be made with the fix baked in.
