Incredible and Laptop questions.

OK, I want the incredible, I see it has WiFi, BUT will I be able to use the Incredible as a router for my laptop? Will this be possible? I am tired of using my xv6900 and the tether cable. I read somewhere that a WiFi router would not be possibable untill the Incredible was rooted, but can I use the WiFi for just 1 laptop? This is on Verizon btw.

Thanks!

Lol, pretty sure most, rather, all HTC Droid Incredible users are on Verizon Wireless. Until rooted you can only tether through usb. Verizon has a 5gb cap on tethering so watch out as normal tethering isn't stealthy.

yah, I saw that only Verizon has the incredible I am tethering now with my xv6900 while I use my laptop on the train ride home, it's not a 'full time' solution. However I am looking forward to rooting!
