make custom wallpaper not look like crap!
 

ok so i was pretty bummed that when trying to use any custom wallpaper that it cropped the heck out of em and they became all pixelated...

so here is what you do. the size you need is 960x800. now set it like normal, but when the green crop rectangle comes up, tap and hold a corner, once the resize arrows come up, drag the corner all the way to the corner of the image, and voila! brand new background that doesn't look like crap! hope that makes some people happy, i know i was gettin bored of the stock htc backgrounds....

I was wondering why it made you crop the image, even if it's well within the allowed size.

Lol, you're really digging into the Android platform pretty deep. Nothing wrong with that.

Great job MrGoodCat, and I would only add one thing...when doing a search for images, it would be very beneficial to look for images larger than 960x800!!! Cropping or reducing image size won't hurt it, but if you enlarge them too much you risk distortion ond/or pixelating (sp) the image.
