Run Xbox Live?

So I figured out how to tether my phone to my laptop to use the internet (not that hard using PDAnet free). Im used to using my vogue and doing the same thing but using the ICS feature. Now when i connect my xbox to the network vie ethernet cable everything seems to work fine. I run the Xbox Live test and it connects to the network and the Internet, but it will not connect to Xbox Live. Its telling me that the MTU setting needs to be above 1360. I've done some research and figured out that it is not the MTU on my computer, because that is running at 1500. So the only thing left is my phone. I've looked and cannot figure out how to change the MTU to above 1360. Any suggestions, or has anyone figured out another way to do connect? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
