radio and GPS question

does switching radios mess up how your GPS gives directions (I know probably a dumb question, but still curious)

the only reason I ask is cause I recently went from a sprint radio to a Telus radio and my Garmin XT was acting really weird when it came to giving directions, i'm not sure if it was a fluke or a result of me messing with my radio.

I am running the Telus radio and haven't had any GPS or other problems really. Maybe it is a bad flash.

im not having any gps or radio issues, the update killed winmo sms. smschat fixed the problem but it's just the point. i doubt it's a bad flash because everything else works fine.
