phone magically turns on when powered off

Just like the title says.. I hold down the power button, it asks if I'm sure, I say yes, it powers down. It'll stay off for ~15 seconds then it just magically turns back on.

I've hard reset already with no luck. I'm about to flash stock to see what happens. If that doesn't fix it, I guess I'll see what Sprint says.

This is a new phone, by the way.. replacement from insurance claim. Maybe they just sent me a bad one..?

Edit:
Stock ROM now. Still doing it.. =\

Mine does this from time to time as well, let us know if the stock rom works. I've never taken the time to try. The screen turns on on its own as well when I turn it off, it's realy annoying. I've found that if I just take my battery out right after I turn it off - wait a few seconds, and then put it back in and it usually stays off.

Stock ROM did not fix it. (I edited it into the first post the day I posted)

Taking the battery out, for any amount of time, after powering down does not fix it either. No matter how long I wait, as soon as I put the battery back in the phone powers itself on.

Looks like I'll have to be calling Sprint to get a new phone.. again.
I just recently received this one about a day or three ago as a replacement for a cracked screen I managed on my old one. Looks like they sent me a bad one.. so it shouldn't be much trouble getting them to send me one that actually works how it should.
