phone freezes after a phone call?

i heard it's called the "standby of death" with the diamond and touch pro's. is there a fix for this at all? im running mightymikes 6.5 rom. i really don't want to have to hard reset or flash a different rom.

Are using s2u2. mine would freeze when I had s2u2 installed.
