Rom Recommendations

Hello everyone,

I have been using a beat up and scratched vogue for the last year. I bought a used Altell Diamond, which with any luck will activate no problem on Verizon.

I looked at the CDMA Roms and there are quite a few. I was hoping a few of you could share your preferences and help me choose a good one.

Re: Rom Recommendations

I would recommend the Pegasus Premium 6.5.1 2.1 ROM (link to xda-developers here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=578478).
Windows Mobile 6.5.1 is stable, intuitive, and a big improvement in terms of touch-friendliness. It has Manila 3D 2.1 which is quite good, and the apps are fairly good as well.

Re: Rom Recommendations

If you like playing OMJ's 2.5 SenseUI is good. Or if you want a stable plain jane 6.5 mine works good.

Re: Rom Recommendations

If your looking for a simple stock rom I'd recommend icedSTOCK v1.4 28002 Generic. If your after some fancier stuff I would honestly say just unlock the phone and start flashing away some of the roms in the cmda section till you find one that you like.

Re: Rom Recommendations

just flash one that looks cool to you. i have flashed almost everyrom on this site to my phone at least once. you gotta try it and see if it has what you need or want. I personally have been using Mysterys latest 2.5 rom. I used his a while back and hadit on my phone for the longest. its all personal preference though. good luck and have fun.

Re: Rom Recommendations

I think calk's rom with mobileshell 3.5 is awesome. Haven't bought the mobileshell yet, but probably will after the 15 day trial. That is unless I put up a differernt rom before that! http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=44494

the
Calkulin's Diamond 21876 Spb ROM (v4.2) 6.5

flavor is the one I run!
