I am have googled this question and come back without an answer so I figure I must be asking the question wrong. I will try to explain here.

There is a game I play on my laptop that when I try to access it from phone I can only get Skyfire to open it. Even though Skyfire can open it it is very limited as to what you can do. So I am trying to find out if it is possible/worth the effort to try and connect my phone thru RDM or VNC or Logmein to my laptop and access the game thru it that way? Will it even work? Thanks

What kind of game? It probably would be too slow to even work.

Probably a flash game right? It should work, I saw some guy on YouTube play WoW on his diamond, but it was super slow (15 fps or less), but a flash game through RDP shouldn't lag that bad. I don't know how to setup a RD though. Sorry.

I just discovered that my version of Vista does not have remote desktop. What options, if any, do I have?

I think there is a VNC client for WM.

I use Z2 Remote to PC. It's the best RD client I've used so far, a lot better than the standard one. I've used a couple others also, and this one seems to have the fastest refresh time and easy interface.
