HTC Diamond from Telus - keys not working - please help!!!

Hi.

Keys on my phone are not responsive (home, back, send, hang-up). When I click any of them, you can feel click, the lights under them turn on, but they don't do what they are supposed to do.

I did one more test. I have set Start->Settings->Key Lock to "Do not lock buttons" and when I turn off the phone, click on any of the buttons wakes up the phone but, again, nothing else happens.

I have performed hard reset (using clear storage) and stillhing. I am running official upgrade provided by Telus from HTC.

Any help is much apprichiated.

P.

Take it apart and see if the cable is loose.

Re: HTC Diamond from Telus - keys not working - please help!!!

Hi and thanks for trying to help. If you ckeck my original post you can see that keys DO trigger something (light and they wake up the device if configured that way) which made me beleave that this could be SW issue. What do you think?

Thanks,

PV17

Oh. Maybe flash back to the shipped ROM? I'm just grasping at straws.
