How do I safely clean my internal storage out?

I have an HTC touch diamond for Sprint and I've flashed through lots of ROMs available at this website, and every time I don't delete my apps and stuff for that ROM that I installed to my internal storage, so its starting to get quite messy. Is there an easy way to delete everything on it without doing any damage? Sense the ROM can be flashed w/o having to activate your phone again I figured the registration data must be storeed on the internal storage right? So I'm paranoid about deleting it because I'm afraid I might lose that valuable information. Sorry if its a dumb quesion, I just got the phone last week and have been playing around with it a ton.

Ok you can completely wipe your internal storage without harming a darn thing. Just go to start> settings> system> clear storage and it should have a drop down box asking you what to clear. Just select internal storage.

Back everything up to your computer first I would say in case you want something. Usually the only two folders that need deleting are Application Data and Program Files on the IS.
