Emergency, need orig. 6.1 Rom
 
hey guys, i'm totally not happy with my service on this nex-tech company, and am wanting to switch back over to my old alltel/verizon plan. i have already upgraded to the Mighty Mike 6.5 rom on this HTC Diamond. i did the original ROM dump before i upgraded JUST IN CASE, and would like to put the phone back to stock settings/rom, OR as close to as possible. i am within my 30 day period (ends wednesday) and want to make sure that if i take the phone back they wont deny my full refund because the phone has been upgraded.


so to stop being longwinded... where can i find a stock (or close to it) Nextech (or compatible) win mobile 6.1 rom?? OR how do i use my phone dump to make my own?

i wouldn't mind the sprint rom as long as it wont "Hurt" my phone. any ideas?? would it be usable?

It wont "hurt" your phone but it will set up connections and everything like a sprint phone. It will also come with some sprint specific programs. It will be useable though.

What kind of files did you end up with when you dumped your ROM? There's probably a way to turn them into something that can be flashed back onto the phone.

i have: dump my phone, enablerapi, information, itsutils.dll, libeay32.dll, part01.raw, part 02.raw, partition addresses, partition.addresses, pdocread...

will those do anything for me mwalt2??(crossing my fingers)

did you check htc website. sometimes theyll have a updated rom for certain carriers.

Yeah, you should be able to create a .nbh that you can flash with the .raw files. I have never done it, but ervius visual kitchen has a 'RAWS2NBH - Convert raw files to nbh ROM file!' option under the 'Extra Buttons' menu. If you want to upload your dump somewhere I can try to do it or you can get ervius kitchen here:

filedropper is pretty easy or megaupload/mediafire.
