Programs suddenly stopped working

A bunch of my programs just stopped working. Google Maps, SpbImageer, Personalizer... I get the message "The file 'GoogleMaps' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."

When I restart, I get:

"The file 'MortScript' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."

Why did this happen? I made no changes. How can I fix this?

Hmm odd. Maybe you need to hard reset

Thanks, Mr O! I had done several resets (taking off the back, pressing the button), and they did not help, and I was about to respond to your post when I figured I should try taking out the battery and putting it back in. So far, so good, all my programs are working again!

Oh good. Sometimes my phone does that and it just takes that.

LOL I spoke too soon. The programs started crapping out again. I think I'll just Flash the stock ROM and do the Telus upgrade (as you so kindly suggested in this thread), and then get the latest Mighty ROM in there... and hope to see no more issues.

It has been a long time since I Flashed (and when I did, it was a frightening step-by-step process)... can you please link me to how to get started?
