Best ROM for an Alltel Diamond?

I am looking for a ROM that runs smoothly on my Alltel Diamond. I just got a letter the other day from Alltel saying that I will not be switching over to Verizon for quite a while, so I want to find a ROM that is known to work well with Alltel, and hopefully be nice and quick also. I have been using Destruction ROM, but that is now discontinued, as his Diamond has died and he got it repl with a TP2. Are there any suggestions out there?

I'm doing exactly what runkittyrun is doing. Cook your own. lol

The biggest thing is remembering to set it up in the Kitchen for Arcsoft and MMS.

Re: Best ROM for an Alltel Diamond?

I've been running STX 6 for a while now, and the battery life is great. I know Gadget has an alltel rom that you could try, and Conflipper use to make Alltel roms but he is MIA right now. May have to send him a message and see whats up. You may also want to check to see if you have the new radio. Alltel released a new one a while ago. May improve signal. Good luck and happy flashing.

Yeah, I have the most updated radio and all. Actually having the GPS reboot issue hardcore for the past week now. Have tried all the fixes listed, still no dice. I even broke down and called Tech Support, and got a call back from Verizon Tier 2 today, so you never know!

Hmm, idk whats up. I had that issue a couple times ago. But I think i just flashed back to stock or shipped and it fixed it. But be sure to let us know what happens with Verizon. Maybe you'll be allowed to get a new phone or something. Good luck.

Yeah, I figure that the best thing that can happen is they replace the Diamond w/ a TP2, at the worst, it'll be just me and Chad rockin the circle A in the end. Either way, as long as I have my GPS back, I'll be fine.

Re: Best ROM for an Alltel Diamond?

I'm using Alltel ROM. Just delete everything under HKCU\Software\HTC\BootLauncher and most entries under HKLM\Services\, except LASSD, NOTIFY, credsvc and things you need.

Superb battery life, stable and snappy, less than 20% memory used after a reboot.

Yeah, that'd work, but now that I'm spoiled on WM 6.5...
