MS My Phone

Good morning all;

I seem to be having problems with the My Phone service. What happens is when my Diamond tries to back up to "My Phone" at night, in the morning there will be an update that needs to install. So I install it. The next morning I'll wake up to a failed backup and "Storage memory low". Go to bed with 33+ MB of space on "My Device" and wake up to >1. Can't find what is taking up all the space so I'll hard reset. This has happened 3 times over the course of the last 6 days. Never had this problem before MS My Phone left beta. Anyone else having this problem? I'm running the Sept. 6th release of Emergy Rom.

Thanks!

Since updating only takes a few seconds, why not just set the options to manual, and sync while you're eating your oatmeal ...

Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Diamond: HTC-P4600/1.2 Opera/9.50 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en))

Could be trying to sync over music, video, and other files that take up too much space. Try manual mode like wmdunn suggested and choose only what is needed such as contacts, calander, and tasks. Try syncing and if its successful switch back to auto.

Re: MS My Phone

Sometimes old files don't get deleted unless you manually go through the deleted items.
