GPS stopped working
 

I just realized this, but it looks like my GPS is broken. i have tried many different radios and they all do the same thing. could there be some thing that i did to turn it off by accident?

to check the gps i am going to the fieldtest.exe and switching to gps. it all shows up as NA (it used to show up in here, back when i was looking for a radio that worked the best for me)

any suggestions?

hmm, never thought about a hard reset. i have tried things like flashing stock and then back... will try a hard reset now. thanks

ok, got it working... dont ask me how. I hard reset it, didnt work, soft reset, didnt work. flashed different roms/radios, didnt work. went hunting for a way to find my SPC/MSL, got gpsOne setup, didnt work... all i did in the end was install gpsgate, it started working, then i uninstalled it, and it continued working...

i tried it with location settings on and off, didnt matter at the time. it is still working... dont know what happend.

In my experience, the GPS on the Diamond tends to sometimes stop working and no amount of soft resetting restores it. The trick to restoring a GPS that has stopped working is using the HTC GPS Tool and doing CLEAR MEMORY, followed by a COLD START and then a HOT START. This restores it for me after a minute or two.

Bane, I lost my GPS functionality last week and have been searching for a fix or reason up until now. This is the only thing after radio swaps, hard and soft resets and rom flashes. Thanks a bunch for this info :salute:.
