Arcsoft issues....pulling my hair out...
 

I have been searching for several days, and have tried installing several versions of arcsoft, and changed every setting I could think of. My problem is that when I send a pic message the person receives it just fine, but when I receive them they download and I can view them but they are all shrunk to thumbnail size. At first I just thought it was the resolution of what was being sent to me, then I sent myself some from my girlfriends phone. The original picture file sent is 2MP and 125k, when I receive it it is tiny and shrank in size to 4k. mp3 and video come in full size and fine, just not pics. Any and all help is appreciated.

Go to MMS Settings. Its under the All messages soft key, then click menu, its at the bottom of the popup menu. There you will find photo resolution and a droobox. Choose 'Orginal'. Should be good after that.

gents, i too have been having this problem, after applying what robsta has suggested im still getting little tiny pictures coming in. anyone know of any other suggestions?

the attached cab is the registry settings from my phone it should fix your problem

thanks for your response (Sic) i installed your .cab, but now it won't download the pictures, it just sits on 0% till it times out. Any clue as to resolve this? My gf goes to school 3 hours away and loves to send me pics and its not fun if they're too small to see, right? lol

oops i forgot that cab has alltel for the server so you need to change that if you want just uninstall that one and install this one which will change just your wspheader which is your picture settings and if it still doesnt work check your server under pic/video options and make sure its right with your network

but i just noticed it says yours in on alltel ha ha i just uploaded one that is straight off my phone as is right now and i know my pictures work some still come through small depending on the size they were taken at but i know if its a big image it comes through big so you can try this one its the whole thing server and all

thanks sic, i've been flashing to a few different roms but i don't like 'em so im gonna go back to stx6 tonight and i'll give your cab a go when i get home. thanks for all the trouble!

im having simsilar issues.....i installed the cab you posted last..im on alltel but al li get is a loading circle then it shows details..and download is greyed out...
whos server should i choose..alltel, alltel MMSC, or verizon?

Alltel MMSC should work.

alltel and alltel MMSC should be the same i would go with MMSC just to be safe

ya i did those to get my phone to send/recieve pics but just recently its been doing the small pic thing, i followed all the directions but no correction :-( thank you for the try tho. does anyone know what else i can try??

I,ve been playing with this myself. arcsoft 5.2.1.22 is the version I am using, threaded, pics, send and recieve using mms-mt.alltel.net setting. but the pics are sOOOOOOOO small can't even see the nipples.

try this, its usually what gets me up and running after flashing to a new rom. Just install in the order they are #.

I joined yesterday and already recieved a solution to a problem. This forum rocks! :headbang:

I am on the cricket network with a touch pro, and the pics i was receiving where preview sized. I copied the cab to my phone from my computer, ran it, and am now receiving bigger pics!
