problem on Touch Flo interface

Hi friends,
On my Touch Flo interface there is the number "2" on the the little email icon, indicating 2 unread messages. This has become permanent for some reason. When I get a new message it goes to three, but will never go below the number 2. I have deleted the email account and started over(didn't help) and emailed HTC and they told me to uncheck the Touch Flo 3D in the Today window then soft reset the device then recheck the Touch Flo box in the Today window and if that doesn't work then hard reset. I just wondered if any of you have had this problem and did you have to hard reset. This would be a big chore for me to reconfigure and reinstall everything. Thank you...

Welcome to ppcgeeks.

Now have you tried checking the most simple of causes? If you have used microsoft sync, it might be welcome messages in outlook. So have you checked in outlook email inbox folder? Go to messaging and into outlook then check there.

If not try googling fixunreadcount.exe or something like that.

Did you check the other folders?
