Help fixing rainbow spot on diamond screen?

I have a sprint diamond, and it has the rectangular oily/rainbow looking blotch on the screen. I dont have a warrenty as i bought it off here and i want to fix this. Does anyone know if i need to replace just the digitizer, the LCD screen, or both?

It still has the manufacturer warranty. The earliest Diamonds were sold in July/Aug of 09 IIRC. Take it to the Sprint store and see what they say.

Sprint will still do an in store exchange to help you along with the manufacturer warranty, so you don't have to go to the manufacturer.

I have the same issue, I think I will go tonight or tomorrow and try and get a replacement. I'll keep you posted and let you know how it goes. Good luck!

You should be able to get it fixed through HTC then.

By bad ESN do you mean delinquent account, or bad ESN for other reasons?

Eww. Yeah give HTC a call but you may have to replace the whole shebang.

i dont have a problem with it, the only thing is i swapped the esn from my old krzr to get it on verizon, as the original is bad, do you think htc will care if its bad?
Any way to check when my warrenty date is up?

Umm changing ESNs is illegal and not to be mentioned on this forum.

Yeah it's illegal. Might affect HTC supporting the warranty.
