Disabling active sync after sync

what's the point of this mongrel eating up 600+ of my ram just by sitting there. is there a way to disable it after disconnecting form the pc?

You can close it in task manager.

And it will continue to. ActiveSync restarts periodically on it's own. There have been several people working on a fix. Codybear has released his ASKicker as another solution. Try it out and see if it works for ya. You have to have mortscript installed first (free). Codybear explains it all in that thread I posted.
