Any way to tweak Rhodium menus?

I'm running MightyROM 4 Final and the finger-friendly menu system (I tis driving me nuts with the animations. They slide in and out, taking up to half a second just to appear.

Does anyone know of a registry edit or similar to disable these animations?

Since you're using MightyROM4, I'd just download his kitchen and delete the menu enhancements. Then just make a new ROM. It's pretty easy and there's lots of people that can help. I don't know how for sure how to disable them. You could try deleting HTCMenus in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\.

I want to keep the menus, I just don't want them to be animated. Windows for instance has a setting letting you specify whether you want menus and tooltips to slide into view or simply appear.

there is a registry tweak somewhere that removes those new menus and gives you back the original WM6x menus (smaller, non-scrolling)... is that what you want?

I'm not sure why they take so long for you to appear.

Mine are generally instant.

Yeah me too. How many programs do you have running at the moment?

I never have more than 2-3 programs running.

They don't take long to pop up, but they do take time, which annoys me.

I understand it doesn't bother everyone. I was just wondering if there was some way to turn it off, that's all.
