Diamond Keyboard
 
Was just wondering why most chefs don't include the keyboard that came with the phone originally... the compact QWERTY?

I flashed back to shipped for a little and was previously always using fingerkeyboard... however once I flashed back I realized I type a lot faster with those bigger keys on the compact QWERTY.

Was just wondering about all you chefs out there what keeps you away from including it?

Not meant to point fingers or anything just curious if there is problems with it or any poor functionality issues...

Now I just have to find a cab to install it.. hmm..

Hey guys, I have cabs for two different stock keyboards. The first one is identical to the stock sprint diamond rom from the latest update from HTC so the latest shipped rom from April. you can find this one here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...30&postcount=4 go to question 8 and the cab is there. The second is from the older shipped rom and I will attach this. this one has slightly larger keys if you recall. In order to properly install these sips, you need to make sure to close or kill the sipgt_app.exe process first, then install the keyboard. You should install fdcsoft taskmanager (cab attached) first, then look for the sipgt_app.exe process in the task manager, and close it. good luck. **one quick note, if you decide to try the second sip, you may need to change the language after installation to english so just open the keyboard options(just to right of the keyboard icon on the screen) and select English.

edit: I should mention thanks to Calcu for posting the first cab in his rom thread! the second sip was sent to me by eeniemini a while back so thanks to her!
