is it possible to keep phone on silent except for certain contacts?

just curious if theres a way to do this...theres certain contacts i want on loud or vibrate when everyone else silent at times..and idk how to get around doing this..

when i dont want to be bothered by a certain someone i just assign them a silent mp3

what I would do is have a silent mp3 set as my default ringtone, then assign the contacts a loud mp3, that way when you want to restore everyone to loud, just make the default ringtone the loud one, when you don't just put default on silent and you will have your 3 or 4 or whomever on loud and the rest on quiet,

Silent MP3 is totally the way to go. I would assume assigning custom ringtones to the people you want to hear from wouldn't be too big of a deal
