Re: Got data.. have a question!

i've posted and posted...please help! my arrows stay on and lit even after checking hotmail, or after a page is fully loaded. sometimes they stay on for hours, unless i long-press-endkey, or i make/receive a call. why??? what is keeping the connection active??? just started couple wks ago. before that, they were operating "normally" meaning they went gray once no more data was being transferred.

have you recently flashed a new rom or installed any programs that could be using data in the BG? weather updates, email updates, gps, downloading, etc? data is a pretty tricky thing and on my phone it does the same thing if I'm not careful to see what's running because so many programs use data.

nope, stock ROM, and only running spb mobile shell/phone suite. and problem started seemingly unrelated to anything else (i.e. was working fine for a couple wks then all of a sudden started doing this. already had had mobile shell/phone suite installed).

that's pretty weird, all i know is keep pressing long end key to turn off data (or comm manager) and back on. Not sure why it's doing that.

Call customer service and find out. I have the Sprint Power Vision data plan and GPS is included in this where as my wife has a data plan that does not include gps. If your plan does not include gps and you run Sprint Navigation, they will charge you like $10 a day to use it.
