MysteryROM 4 w/Diamond 2 Keyboard

Anyone here running this setup? I really like the keyboard from the TD2 but every time I install the cab on this MysteryROM4 my phone won't boot after the soft reset. I always flash back to stock and hard reset twice before flashing a custom ROM and I've done that several times with this but to no avail.

I searched through the MysteryROM4 thread and found zilch but surely I can't be alone in this. Or maybe I can. I dunno.

Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated.

the keyboard cooked into Mystery rom appears to Merdinh black htc sip which is a compressed variation of the standard stock sip. I am not sure if you tried this yet, but try installing fdcsoft task manager, then open up the task manager and under processes see if sipgt_app.exe is running. if so, close/kill the process. then try installing the new keyboard (td2). You need to close this process before trying to install another keyboard. if the process is not running, then I am out of ideas and it probably will not work unless Mystery cooks the specific sip in that you use. Here is the fdcsoft taskmanager that you need. Hope this works.

Alright. That process isn't running so I'll have to wait and see if anyone else has any ideas.

Thank you very much for your reply though rileyd5.

No problem. you may be able to try this keyboard from this post. it's ezinput 2.0 but only the compact qwerty. I am wondering if the problem is trying to install over the Merdinh keyboard. not sure though. Also, you may try asking Mystery about this. He's top notch guy and will get back to you.

"It doesn't work on ROMs that doesn't have Rhodium or Leo Packages, if you install it on this kind of ROMs, it may cause a not bootable system after the soft reset."

thats from the thread, im pretty sure if you have the old ezinput installed it causes you to have a non bootable rom. you need at least one of the newer ezinputs cooked in.
