Re: WARNING, There Has Been A Change Made To Your Server

Hey guys, I tried doing what you said but this still isn't working for me. I went so far as to re-flash MightyROM, but still no luck. Any ideas?

Re: WARNING, There Has Been A Change Made To Your Server

Hate to throw a wrench into the server theory. I use an Windows Mobile 6 iPaq and an XP machine with Outlook 2007. My Outlook is not connected to any email account. I sync only Calendar, Contacts, Notes and Tasks. I do not use any network to sync, just a USB cable. This morning I got the "Change Made To Your Server" message. Will probably just back up Outlook and tell it to go ahead and resync everything, but would like MS or someone to explain how to prevent this (or patch it.)

Re: WARNING, There Has Been A Change Made To Your Server

This particular Windows Mobile 6 - 6.5 BUG has been continuously reported since early 2007!

It is bizarre that there is no official mention of this prominent, persistant and widespread bug that is significantly impacting user experience, and there is no reply from Microsoft.

HTC's resolution is to not sync email. LOL. Why have a frakking mobile device if you can't read your email on your device!!? Anyways, HTC are clearly pushing issue back to Microsoft.

Here is a thread on this issue over at Microsoft...

damn, tried posting link but apparently can't post a link in this forum until i have 10 posts so ... just google for ...

social.microsoft.com and this thread id

You lose everything you added to your phone since you last synced.

I'd say that was definately somethig to get VERY UPSET about.

Microsoft are so convinced they are perfect and never make mistakes that cr@p like this often goes on for years with Microsoft just never admitting anything is wrong. They're just a bunch of over confident egomaniacs who can't admit that they frequently bite off far more than they can chew.
