wifi issue
 

After I open wifi, the touch diomand will connect to the wireless router in my home. But I failed to open any internet applications... MSN, Opera...
Is there anything I need to set?

Your carrier is in China. Are you sure they aren't blocking it? lol

The phone mentions that is has connected to the my Network and I can see the speed rate, signal strenght etc. But when I try to open any web page, the page does not open. Check URL or has any programme using this connection works error message appears. But all the web pages open using the data connection.
My laptop running windows xp are connected to this Wi-Fi access point.
It is able to connect to the Internet perfectly.
This reply, which I am sending is also through the same access point.
Kindly help.

Have you tried a soft reset (reboot)? If this is your first time setting up the wifi that could help...

Are there any security passwords that need to be set up?
I reconfigured a wireless router program on my Diamond and could not open up any pages on my pc while my Diamond was tethered via WiFi. But I could open up pages while tethered via USB.
I finally figured out that my pc security code was not current after the new router configuration so I had to change the security code on my pc to the new router config security code.
I don't know if the above pertains to you but it may give you some ideas.
