Verizon version has superb battery life!

A friend mailed to me a Verizon Diamond on 8/5, he forgot to turn the phone off. I received the phone and Today is 8/9, battery still has 3 bars out of 4. This is way way better than my Sprint Diamond even flashed to MightyRom 3.9!

Re: Verizon version has superb battery life!

yea, depending on the rom i can get heavy usage out of mine too. its all about efficiency. stock telus rom was a joke. i could literally kill it in a few hours just by texting and browsing the web at the same time. not to mention the heat

Re: Verizon version has superb battery life!

The radio could be getting a better signal than Sprint's.

Where I live I can get an easy 2 days out of battery with moderate use, but when I drove a couple states over i could barely get through a day.

MR3.9 is pretty old... Verizon's 850Mhz signal probably has better box-penetrating ability... Verizon's Diamond has less RAM and no 4Gb flash to support -- the RAM is probably the bigger issue and I'll take the RAM over the longer standby battery life...

I will take and microSD card over 4GB internal memory anyday but both would have made the Diamond great!

Re: Verizon version has superb battery life!

The VZ stock ROM is so good, I actually want to flash it to my Sprint Diamond. I did download a VZ ROM from PDC, but flashing stops at 1%. Anyone knows a solution?
