Verizon Diamond Flashing
 

Got a new verizon diamond today. tried to flash hard spl and getting error messg 244 inaled model id?? can somebody help because i did this on the alltel version a few days ago and did not have this problem. I have tried using the diamond unlocker and hard spl.57 and 43.

Kind of like Farting into the wind. I've PM'ed a few of the big players in unlocking these things and didn't even get a response. It seems no one is interested because the new versions are coming out.

It's not POS. It works pretty well, the processor isn't as slow as everyone thought, it has the accelerometer, has wifi, microSD and stand alone GPS can be turned on. It's just so new no one as done anything with it. Someone will eventually. Be patient or just start saving your pennies for another phone.

I don't think the phones are that different. When you scan the radio memory they are very similar. When more people get it, I'm sure it will get hacked.

Why you want to flash a Verizon? The stock ROM is superb, battery lasts for more than a week in standby, never possible with a Sprint even flashed to MightyRom. GPS and Internet Sharing both can be enabled, what else you want?

6.5...not for me! Quite happy with a stripped down version of 6.1 with finger scrolling menus.
