Need help with browser reg settings

This may sound odd, but I need to make my browser look like a mobile or
smartphone browser. (I searched and read every thread I could find on reg. edits.) To explain it even more clearly, I need the "stock" or "shipped" sprint/opera settings so I can get to my MLB Gameday Audio! I have tried all the GUI settings available through my ROM (today it's Energy) and the only time it works is when I'm on the stock sprint ROM. I remember reading about tweaking the browsers registry settings back when the mogul first came out, but of course that was focused in the other direction, making the browser appear as if it was NOT a mobile browser... heh! ... I tried the view site as mobile browser setting in Opera it didn't help. I didn't see it in ie at first, but I found it under menu>tools>options>other>browse website as: select "mobile device".
It works.

I use Skyfire to watch MLB.TV, and I know MLB audio works with it as well, (I use that when the game is blacked out). So just wondering if you thought that might be an option for you or not.
